Pay attention to the building where you work: Penalties of up to 70,000 lei and loss of authorizations

There can not be conducted anymore public activities in commercial spaces such as shops, restaurants, banks etc located at the basement of the buildings with seismic risk of 1st and 2nd degree until the completion of the consolidation works, provides the Law 282/2015 promulgated on Tuesday by the president and that is to be published in the Official Gazette.

 The law prohibits permanent activities and / or temporary in public spaces with another destination than the one for living there for buildings with seismic risk of 1st and 2nd degree, involving crowds of people, until the completion of works for strengthening the buildings. Therefore, there can not be conducted public activities in commercial spaces, theaters, exhibition halls, lecture halls, tourism accommodation facilities and catering and service provision, social and medical assistance, public administration and others. Otherwise, owners and / or administrators will be sanctioned with penalties between 50,000 and 70,000 lei and the competent local authorities will not issue functioning authorizations for the spaces in question.
