Official Gazette 504/20 July - Law no. 167/2010 dated July 14 –th 2010 regarding the approval of O.U.G. no. 15/2010 for the modification of art. 13 par. (2) of O.U.G. no. 196/2005 regarding the Environment fund

The law for the approval of the ordinance brings a few modifications, such as:

the eco-tax applied for bags and shopping bags which are made of non-degradable materials decreases from Lei 0.2 to Lei 0.1 apiece; this eco-tax shall be declared and paid quarterly;
the contribution for selling timber increases from 1% to 2% of the income obtained;
the contribution owed by the economic operators who introduce on the market new or second-hand tires meant for reuse increases from Lei 1/kg to Lei 2/kg;
starting 1 January 2011 economic operators who introduce used oils on the market will owe a contribution of Lei 2/litre;

This law came into force starting from July 23-rd 2010.
